4. Tips for responding to screening questions:
▶ When responding please clearly demonstrate HOW, WHEN, and WHERE each qualification was met and provide examples.
▶ Choose examples with sufficient complexity, impact and degree of difficulty that will allow you to illustrate to what extent and depth you have shown the behaviors expected for each qualification.
▶ Each example should include when the example took place, background of the situation, what you did, how you did it, what your role was in the situation, and what was the outcome.
5. You will be asked to include your resume. Your resume may be used as a secondary source to validate the experience and education described in the screening questions; however, you will not be solicited for incomplete or possible missing information.

📢 What to expect after you submit your application 📢
Step 1: Complete Multiple-Choice Assessment
▶Please note: For this staffing process we will be conducting the assessment PRIOR to reviewing your application (screening) and determining if you meet the essential education and experience.
▶ On Wednesday, October 25, 2023, you will receive an invitation to complete a multiple-choice test from the following email address: . It is your responsibility to consult your emails on a regular basis, including your spam folder. You have until Thursday, October 26, 2023 at 11:59pm Eastern to complete the multiple-choice assessment, if you do not complete the assessment by October 26th, you will not move forward in this process.
Step 2: Provide Proof of Education, Proof of Citizenship & Second Language Evaluation Results (if applicable)
▶ Following the completion of your multiple-choice test, you will receive an invitation to upload an electronic copy of your proof of education, and answer questions regarding your citizenship and language profiles you wish to be considered for.
▶ Your education can be in the form of a scan or picture; please ensure you have this information prepared ahead of time.
Step 3: Screening (Review of Applications)
▶ After completing the multiple-choice assessment, if you have obtained the required pass mark you will move on to the next phase of the process. Your application will then be reviewed to determine if you meet the essential education and experience qualifications.

ED1 - Successful completion of two years of secondary school or employer-approved alternatives*.

OR
• An acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience. Experience working in an office environment that required tasks such as: typing, filing, sending and replying to e-mail, answering telephone inquiries, etc.
Experience:
EX1 - Experience providing service to internal or external clients or customers by telephone, in person or in writing.
EX2 - Experience providing clerical or administrative support services.

AEX3 - Experience handling financial transactions in an office setting.
AEX4 - Experience working with Veterans Affairs Canada programs, services or benefits.
AEX5 - Experience working in Veterans Affairs Canada client payment processing.
