The initial intent of this process is to offer a few indeterminate positions.
A pool of qualified persons resulting from this process MAY be created and MAY be used to fill similar positions with linguistic profiles (English essential, bilingual imperative BBB/BBB, bilingual imperative CBC/CBC, bilingual non imperative BBB/BBB, bilingual non imperative CBC/CBC) as well as tenures (indeterminate, deployment, acting, assignment, secondment, specified period) which may vary according to the position being staffed.

-A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in a field relevant to the duties of the position.

Education:
-Possession of a recognized professional designation/certification: Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), Certified Government Audit Profession al (CGAP), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Risk Management Auditor (CRMA).
Successful completion of at least one of the three Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) exams.
Experience:
-Experience in working in an audit operations context (i.e.: drafting or revising audit-related written material, such as reports, sections of reports and briefing notes, developing internal audit plans, or tools and procedures; following up on the implementation of management action plans resulting from audits).
-Experience participating in the planning or conduct or reporting phase of an audit.
-Experience in the use of audit management software (e.g. TeamMate).
-Experience in data analytics (e.g., analyzing sets of data from the financial system (SAP) using software such as ACL or IDEA or applying data by other tools such as the enterprise application SAP)
-Experience using tools such as MS Power Business Intelligence (BI) to report results of data analysis.

Failure to obtain this security clearance means either the candidate will not receive a job offer or the conditional offer will be rendered null and void. A thorough security clearance process will be applied to all candidates considered for an appointment; this process includes inquiries, verifications and assessments regarding matters such as, but not limited to:
• criminal record checks
• reference checks
• previous employment
• open source checks
• credit/financial status
For a secret security clearance, the verification of background information over a period of 10 years is typically required. Many of the verifications require support from third parties whose timelines are outside of TBS’s control. Overall, the process may take several weeks or months to complete. If this process is for an acting appointment, the Public Service Employment Regulations allow a federal government organization to exclude an appointee from having the official language proficiency indicated in the job advertisement.
