As announced by the Treasury Board of Canada, Indigenous Services Canada employees are expected to perform their duties from a Government of Canada physical workplace at least 2–3 days each week, or 40–60% of their regular schedule.
Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) works collaboratively with partners to improve access to high quality services for First Nations, Inuit and Métis. Our vision is to support and empower Indigenous peoples to independently deliver services and address the socio-economic conditions in their communities. The Nursing Services Response Centre (NSRC) is a dedicated and coordinated team of technical contextual experts from a wide range of corporate sectors and programs whose mandate is to deliver comprehensive and reliable responses to the needs of ISC Nurses across Canada.
The intent of this process is to staff two (2) positions on an indeterminate basis: one (1) English Essential and one (1) Bilingual Imperative (BBB/BBB).
A pool of partially or fully qualified candidates may be established to staff similar or identical positions at Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) with various linguistic profiles and/or requirements as well as tenures and/or the security clearance (reliability or secret), which may vary according to the position being staffed.

EDUCATION
A secondary school diploma (high school) or an *acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience relevant to thisposition.
*An acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience is defined as:
1. A satisfactory score on the Public Service Commission test approved as an alternative to a secondary school diploma OR
2. Completion of two (2) years of secondary school (high school) AND two (2) years of work experience in a field relevant to the
position.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
Experience in using Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
Experience in responding to client inquiries.

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Hours of work rotate between 7:00–3:00 and 9:00–5:00 Monday through Friday (variations based on applicable time zones and positions being staffed).
Hours of operations: may include expanded hours of operations to effectively manage workload requirements and level of services being offered by the NSRC.
