As an IT Technician, Infrastructure Operations, you will be given the opportunity to:
✔ Provide technical support to customers who are experiencing difficulties, for example with hardware, organizational software, network connectivity, cloud services and peripheral services and IT infrastructure peripheral equipment.
✔ Examine, determine, resolve and document technical issues raised and investigate the causes, as well as the measures taken to resolve customer difficulties, and refer problems to higher level of support, as appropriate.

▶ For operational reasons, please note that for positions to be filled, candidates must be willing to work three days a week from the John H. Chapman Space Center, 6767 Route de l'Aéroport, Saint-Hubert, Quebec, J3Y 8Y9.
The intent of this selection process is to staff three positions on an indeterminate basis.
A pool of qualified candidates will be established to staff similar positions and with various tenures (indeterminate and term (temporary)).

🚀 ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS 🚀
- EDUCATION -
• Graduation from a two-year program of study from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in computer science, information technology, information management or another specialty relevant to the position to be staffed.
Note: At the manager’s discretion, an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience may serve as an alternative to the minimum education stated above. Whenever the minimum education is met using this alternative, it is met for the specific position only and must be re-assessed for other positions for which this alternative has been specified by the manager.

- EDUCATION -
• Successful completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Management or another specialty relevant to the position to be staffed.
- EXPERIENCE -
• Experience of two (2) years or more (continuous or not) in computer support and troubleshooting in a company with 100 or more employees.

- OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS -
• Willingness to work overtime.
• Willingness and ability to work on a schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
