The intent of this process is to staff engineering positions (multi-disciplinary) at the Department of National Defence. We have current needs for Software, Mechanical, Electrical and Marine engineers.
As a result of this process a pool of candidates may be established and used to staff similar positions with various employment tenures, locations, language profiles, security requirements and conditions of employment.

EDUCATION
ED1. Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in mechanical engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, aeronautical engineering, geological engineering, naval architecture or some other engineering specialty relevant to the duties of the position. EX1. Experience in providing specialist engineering expertise, advice, and guidance in a field relevant to the position being staffed.
EX2. Experience in working with stakeholders on major engineering or life cycle management projects.
EX3. Experience in working with multi-disciplinary teams engaged in the delivery of engineering projects.
EX4. Experience in planning, developing, and implementing engineering projects.
OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATION

AEX7. Experience in Maritime and Arctic related fields or projects.
AEX8. Experience aboard a Naval vessel in a Combat Systems Engineering role.
AEX9. Experience in the design, installation, or support of combat systems for the maritime environment.
AEX10. Experience with Data Transformation Services for database architectures.
AEX11. Experience in program management.
AEX12. Experience in project management.
AEX13. Experience in technical advice in existing and emergent C2 subject areas, such as cloud networking, digital identity management, DCS, Zero Trust architecture or HF/LF technology.

AEX15. Experience in a land equipment engineering and maintenance environment.
AEX16. Experience writing a Statement of Work (SOW) and Technical Requirements Specification.
