Our CO-02 analysts lead various complex files as part of our Grants and Contributions program, they are a key component of our ability to deliver on the SIF’s expected results as established by the government for Canadians. ISED is transitioning to a hybrid work environment to leverage the best of both in-person and virtual work to deliver results. To foster a dynamic environment for purposeful in-person connections, most employees will be working part time at their designated ISED worksite on a weekly basis, and the remainder of the time from their telework location.  

This job has been identified as ‘hybrid’. Generally, employees in a hybrid job can anticipate working from their designated ISED location from two to three days per week.

We are located at the CD Howe Building, situated at 235 Queen Street, an office complex in downtown Ottawa, close to Parliament Hill, the Rideau Canal and the Rideau Shopping Centre. This location offers close access to restaurants, fitness facilities, walking/running paths and parks. We are conveniently located close to major bus routes, so it is easy to commute from all points across the National Capital Region.

EDUCATION :
- Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in a field relevant to the duties of the position

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE :
- Experience analyzing data or investigating legal, financial or business information and formulating recommendations

- Experience providing written and oral briefings to management including analysis, advice and recommendations

- Experience in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with government, industry stakeholders or other clients

- Experience working in multidisciplinary project teams.

- Experience in managing projects, programs or cases, within a grants and contributions environment

- Experience in the development of internal or administrative policies, procedures, guidelines or strategies in relation to grants and contributions programs

- Experience in negotiations with internal and external stakeholders
