Intent of the process

The immediate intent of this selection process is to fill two (2) term positions.

A pool of qualified candidates will be established and may be used to staff identical or similar positions in various locations with various tenures such as permanent specified term, acting, assignments/secondments, or deployments. It may also be used to staff identical or similar positions by other regions or federal departments across Canada.

↬ Graduation with a degree* from a recognized post-secondary institution with specialization in resource management, physical or biological sciences, or any other environmental science relevant to the position (Environmental science may include biology, ecology, soil science).

*Significant is defined as the depth and breadth of experience associated with the performance of a broad range of related activities which were primarily the candidate’s responsibility. It will be assessed based on scope, complexity and the diversity of the work performed as well as the autonomy required of the candidate to perform the activities. This level of experience is normally achieved through the performance of relevant duties for a period of at least three years.
