For each experience criterion, please provide concrete examples including the following information:

3. Specific details of tasks, projects, or accomplishments demonstrating how the experience was acquired.
The screening questions will be used as the primary tool in the screening process and the résumé will be used to substantiate the information provided. Applications that do not clearly demonstrate how the screening criteria are met will be eliminated from consideration.
Transport Canada’s Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Division, which oversees the National Aerial Surveillance Program, is looking for officers to conduct various mission profiles, including pollution detection, fisheries and whale observation, and land-based infrastructure observation patrols, onboard its aircraft.
The intent of this process will be used to create a pool of qualified candidates to fill current and future vacancies at the EG-05 level. The pool may be established to staff identical or similar positions with various tenures within Transport Canada's Aircraft Services Directorate.

✈ ESSENTIAL EDUCATION
ED: A secondary school diploma, or an acceptable combination of education, training, and experience.
✈ ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES
EX1: Approximately two or more years of experience working in a related operational environment, such as aerial, shipboard, field, and shift work.
EX2: Experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
✈ EDUCATION
AED: Post-secondary school diploma or degree from a recognized institution with specialization in geography, geographic information systems, remote sensing, environmental technology, meteorology, aviation, information management, or another field relevant to the position.
✈ EXPERIENCES
AEX1: Experience observing, recording, and reporting data from an aerial platform, including but not limited to, pollution, marine security, or marine mammal data.
AEX2: Experience operating remote sensors (e.g., radars, UV, IR, FLIR, drones, camera systems or other systems).
AEX3: Experience working in remote areas.
AEX4: Experience working with aviation or marine radios.
AEX5: Experience conducting investigations.
AEX6: Experience working with geographic information systems and spatial data.
AEX7: Experience delivering weather briefings.
AEX8: Experience using aviation weather products, including for but not limited to, flight planning purposes.
⇒Note on Asset Experience: Asset qualifications are not mandatory qualifications to the position. You do not need to answer the screening questions for the assets qualifications. ✈ OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• Willingness and ability to work in a flexible environment on a variable day work and/or shift work schedule, including weekends and some standby on the employee’s days of rest.
• Willingness and ability to perform overtime on short notice, including weekends.
• Willingness and ability to work up to 14 hours of duty per day.
• Willingness and ability to travel on short notice and possibly for extended periods of time (up to 30 days) dependent on the location of the incident and support required.
• Willingness and ability to undertake training to maintain or upgrade knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Willingness and ability to work under adverse field conditions on aircraft platforms.
