Intent of the process

The intent of this process is to fill 1 indeterminate full-time position, located in Iqaluit, Nunavut. Remote work assignments from other locations will not be considered.

Should a Civilian Member (CM) be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to the Public Service (PS) category for the CM.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience related to the position.

Degree equivalency

*Recent experience managing projects to acquire, dispose, build, lease or renovate real property.

Experience in managing contracts and administering the delivery of services.

Experience with managing asset(s) to achieve portfolio strategies.
*Recent is defined as work performed within the past 3 years for a minimum duration of 1 year.

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)

Successful completion of a degree, diploma, or certificate or a combination of experience and education in facilities or real property management, project management or building design and construction such as:
Certified Property Manager (CPM)
Certified Administrator
BOMI Real Property Administrator (RPA)

IFMA Certified Facilities Manager (CFM)
Certified Engineering Technician
Applied Science Technologist

Degree equivalency

Experience in reviewing construction drawings and technical specifications.

Experience in managing financial resources.

Experience working in a cross-cultural environment, particularly in Indigenous communities
