As a Senior Director, you will have the responsibility to lead, mentor and guide a team who manage a large portfolio or program of work in the delivery of PSPC property and infrastructure services in one of the largest real estate portfolios in Canada, which includes key national institutions, accommodations for over 100 federal departments and agencies, and critical public infrastructure. You will play a central role in working with federal partners and in identifying and implementing innovative solutions to meet their real property needs, and you will play a key role in managing relationships with stakeholders such as other levels of government, indigenous groups and industry.
Digital Services Branch
The Digital Services Branch (DSB) provides a wide range of information management and information technology (IM/IT) services to the Department and Government of Canada organizations. It provides critical digital services to serve Canadians. With strong principles of providing quality service to clients, we provide other government departments, agencies and Crown corporations with innovative services in areas such as real property management, procurement, banking, pay and pensions and translation. By delivering these centralized digital services to department and agencies, we allow them to focus their energy on what they do best: delivering programs and services to Canadians.
We are One PSPC!
Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) helps the Government of Canada serve Canadians. With a strong focus on quality customer service, we provide innovative common services such as real estate and building management, purchasing, banking, pay and pensions, and translation to other government departments, agencies and boards. By providing these centralized services to departments and agencies, we enable them to focus on what they do best: providing their programs and services to Canadians.
At PSPC, we are committed to achieving a competent, representative workforce that reflects the diversity of the Canadian population. We work hard to create a welcoming, respectful and inclusive workplace through a variety of programs and initiatives. In fact, we have been named one of Canada’s Best Diversity Employers for the seventh year in a row and here is a list of some of our diversity and inclusion achievements:
• five diversity networks;
• a Task Force on Anti-racism, Workplace Culture and Equity;
• a national Reconciliation and Indigenous Engagement Unit;
• an Ombudsman for Mental Health (the first such position within the federal public service);
• an Accessibility Office and;
• a Gender-based Analysis Plus (GBA+) Centre of Expertise.
While many programs and initiatives have already been implemented in line with our commitments to diversity and inclusion, we aim to get better! That's why we invite you to be part of the change by joining an organization where individual differences are recognized, valued and respected. Be part of the solution!
This is a collective process for the Digital Services Branch and the Real Property Services Branch. Some positions are currently vacant while others may become vacant in the future and could be staffed via this process.
A pool of partially or fully qualified candidates will be established through this process to staff various EX-02 positions within Public Services and Procurement Canada across Canada. These positions may be of different tenures.
