Duties

STREAM 1 - Senior Regional Information Management Officer:

As part of Corporate Operations, PSPC Atlantic Region, this position leads a team and is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the Information Management Program including: records and document management services and archival services in both paper and electronic format, IM consulting services, library services, and information architecture services.

→ Position is English essential and will be located in Halifax, NS.

STREAM 2 - Regional Chief, Accommodations and Materiel Management:

As part of Corporate Operations, PSPC Atlantic Region, this position leads a team and is responsible for the operational delivery of various Corporate Administration Programs including: accommodation planning and project management, low dollar-value procurement, fleet management, material life cycle management, surplus assets disposals, material contracting, and professional services contracting.

→ Position is English essential and could be staffed from:
Moncton, Saint John, Halifax, Sydney, Charlottetown, St. John’s, Corner Brook.

STREAM 3 - Regional Chief, Security:

As part of Corporate Operations, PSPC Atlantic Region, this position leads a team whose duties, related to the eight security controls identified in the Treasury Board Secretariat's Policy on Government Security, work to strengthen the Region's security of it's information, assets, services and people. Areas of work include: personnel, IT, IM, and physical security, event management, administrative investigations, identity and access management.

→ Position is bilingual (CBC/CBC) and will be located in Halifax, NS.

- Significant* experience in working with GCDocs/OpenText, or any other Electronic Document Records Management System (EDRMS)

- Significant* experience working in the Information Management (IM) field.
MUST include at minimum three of the following:
• Providing support to clients in areas such as: records classification, retention and disposition, and managing records in a document management system.
• Using, supporting and training on an Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) such as LRS server, RDIMS, GCdocs/OpenText, Microsoft SharePoint, etc.
• Establishing, implementing, or maintaining repositories in which information resources of business values are stored or preserved in a physical or electronic storage space.
• Participating in various IM working groups or committees
• Implementing or managing a specialized electronic records information management system.

STREAM 2 - Regional Chief, Accommodations and Materiel Management

- Significant* experience in using modern enterprise-wide Financial Management Information Systems e.g. Sigma, SAP or other.

- Significant* experience in program service delivery in Accommodations and/or Material Management.
MUST include at minimum three of the following:
• Internal space management and accommodations,
• Management of equipment (ex: printers, shredders, etc.) and audio-visual or video conferencing equipment,
• Management of boardrooms,
• Management of employee space including office or cubicle fit-ups,
• Low Dollar Value Contracting,
• Reporting on procurement / contracting,
• Fleet Vehicle Management,
• Asset and Inventory Lifecycle Management.

STREAM 3 - Regional Chief, Security

Significant* experience in the development, delivery, and monitoring of a corporate*** security program.
MUST include at minimum four of the following:
• Security screening
• Information technology security
• Physical security
• Information management security
• Security requirements associated with contracts
• Security event management
• Security awareness and training
• Identity, credential, and access management
• Conducting administrative investigations and implementing corrective controls


* Significant refers to breadth and depth of experience and is defined as a combination of time spent doing the activity, as well as type of work (range, scope, and complexity) handled related to the experience criteria.

** Complex issues are issues with at least two (2) of the following characteristics: sensitive, confidential, affecting many partners or stakeholders, have an impact on operational service delivery. Candidates need to clearly demonstrate the complexity.

*** Corporate security program: Mid or large size public organizations or private corporations with a well-defined corporate security program, structure and organization that is the business lead for identifying, developing, implementing and maintaining security processes across the organization to reduce risks, respond to incidents, and limit exposure to liability in all areas of financial, physical, and personal risk; establish appropriate standards and risk controls associated with employee protection, information security, asset protection, emergency management and response; and, the establishment and implementation of policies and procedures related to information technology security. Typically, such organizations exist in large Government Departments (Federal, Provincial, Territorial), large Municipalities, large corporations and public or private organizations with significant employee populations (1000+) or campus type settings (e.g. hospitals, colleges, universities, large manufacturing plants, utilities companies, banks).
