No more endless processes! The ATSSC aims to establish a pool of partially qualified candidates by June 2023! But what does that imply?

- Three (3) screening questions and nine (9) Yes/No questions;
- A written exam integrated into this application with two (2) questions;
- No formal interview or reference check *.

The pool will be established immediately after the correction of your application and the evaluation of your second language skills for the reading comprehension and written expression. Ready, set, go !

Intent of the process

The intent of this advertisement is to staff five (5) positions on an indeterminate or term basis.

A partially assessed pool will be created and may be used to staff similar positions at an identical or equivalent group and level with various bilingual requirements, tenures, locations or security clearances within the Administrative Tribunals Support Service of Canada (ATSSC). All other federal organizations listed in Schedules I, IV and V of the Financial Administration Act (FAA) may use this selection process to appoint a candidate to a similar position within their organization.

* IMPORTANT : Please note that the second language skills ''Reading comprehension'' and ''Written expression'' will be assessed before the creation of the pool. Obtaining a level B in these two skills will be required to be qualified in the partially assessed pool.

EDUCATION

EDU1. Successful completion of two years of secondary school or an employer-approved alternative.

The employer-approved alternatives to two years of secondary school are:
- A satisfactory score on the Public Service Commission test approved as an alternative to two years of secondary school; OR
- An acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

EXPERIENCE

EXP1. Experience in providing administrative support services.
EXP2. Experience in using the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.

ABILITIES

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS

AEXP1. Experience in data entry.

AEXP2.Experience in managing a calendar and scheduling meetings.

AEXP3. Experience in drafting, reviewing, proofreading or formatting correspondence.

AEXP4. Experience in using a financial system, such as, but not limited to; SAP, SIGMA, BI, BO, Freebalance, SAGE, Logibec, PBHC.

AEXP5. Experience in using a human resources management system, such as, but not limited to; My GCHR, HRIS or PeopleSoft.

AEXP6. Experience in the use of an information or file management system, such as, but not limited to; GCDocs, IRIMS, EDRM or Live Link.

AEXP7. Experience in making travel arrangements and preparing travel claims.

AEXP8. Experience working in a legal, quasi-judicial or judicial environment, such as in a tribunal, court, commission, law firm or notary office.

AEXP9. Experience providing court-related or legal administrative support services.

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

OR1. The incumbent may be required to work overtime.
