Regional Corporate Services Directorate
Reporting to the Chief Financial Results and Delivery Office (CFRDO) Sector, the Alberta regional Corporate Services Directorate consists of 3 Financial pillars (amongst other responsibilities) which organizes the delivery of financial services to regional clients;

Resource Management/Advisory Services/Operations
Opportunities exist to be involved in analyzing data, working with clients to ensure accurate forecasting, entering, analyzing and presenting salary information. Resource management includes analysis and review of operational plans, budget transfers, creation of cash flow documentation for contribution agreement funding.

Funding Agreement Management
Create annual agreements using a database, ensuring accurate data entry.

Audit and Compliance
Review audited consolidated financial statements, ensure that appropriate reporting has been received to further or close files.

The immediate need is indeterminate. A pool of qualified candidates may be established to staff similar or identical positions with various linguistic profiles and with various employment types and tenures (indeterminate, specified period or acting appointment, deployment, assignment, secondment) within ISC (Edmonton AB, Regina SK, or Vancouver, BC) or ISC offices across Canada.

Education:
• Successful completion of two years of a post-secondary program specializing in accounting, finance, business administration, commerce or economics; OR
• possession of the Government of Canada Financial Management Certificate.
Experience:
EX1: Experience in at least two (2) of the following areas:
Accounting operations; including AP/AR
Internal or external reporting
Quality Assurance, monitoring and internal controls
Financial Policies
Financial Systems (Accounting software)
Planning and Financial Management
Asset Education
AED1: A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with specialization in accounting, finance, business administration, commerce or economics.
AED2: Accreditation from a recognized professional accounting designation (e.g. CPA, CA, CMA, CGA)
Asset Experience:
AEX1: Experience in providing financial advice and support to management or clients.
AEX2: Experience in extracting, compiling and analyzing detailed information and preparing reports.
AEX3: Experience working in the salary management area (analyzing and reconciling salary information)
AEX4: Experience working in the Financial Management group, including forecasting, AP and AR
AEX5: Experience with MS Business Intelligence (BI) within a financial management environment.
AEX6: Advanced experience using MS Excel
AEX7: Experience reviewing, reconciling and presenting results on consolidated audited financial statements
AEX8: Experience in using the Grants and Contributions Information system (GCIMS)
