The mission of the CSA is to plan and manage Canada's space programs, to increase and disseminate space know-how in Canadian industry and to promote the use of space applications.

Join our Records Management Team and contribute to a dynamic, innovative and client-services oriented team.

⭐ Duties of the AS-02
Among other things, the Coordinators are responsible for providing services, advice and guidance in one or more of the following areas:
• development and reporting of organization-wide policies/plans/guidelines/procedures;
• management of projects affecting the entire organization;
• life cycle management of electronic and physical records, including archiving;
• operations management for electronic systems supporting IM.

⭐ Duties of the AS-04
Among others, the Team Lead is responsible for:
• supervising and supporting a team of Information Management Coordinators (AS-02), Analysts (AS-01) and Assistants (CR-04) to manage the complete life cycle of information for CSA;
• integrating CSA's Electronic Document and Records Management Solution (EDRMS) with other enterprise solutions;
• analyzing, recommending and implementing strategies for document management and electronic records management;
• ensuring compliance with federal legislation, regulations, standards, policies and procedures for audit and accountability.

💻 ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR BOTH POSITIONS 💻

▶ EDUCATION:
• Diploma of a recognized post-secondary institution in a field relevant to the position (for example: college diploma in documentation, in information management or in information and library technologies; university certificate in records management and archives, in digital information management or in archives; bachelor’s or master’s degree in library sciences, in museum, archives or information sciences).

OR

• An acceptable combination of education (*) and direct, hands-on experience of at least 2 years in electronic records management, in an archives, library or open government setting.

* Meeting the minimum standard of a secondary school diploma or employer-approved alternatives.

Degree equivalency

▶ EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR BOTH POSITIONS
• Experience in the development and implementation of information management processes or procedures.

▶ SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE – COORDINATOR, INFORMATION MANAGEMENT (AS-02)
• Experience in records management or library work.

▶ SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE – TEAM LEAD, RECORDS MANAGEMENT (AS-04)
• Significant (**) experience in records management or library work.
• Significant (**) experience in supervising employees.

** Significant is defined as a depth and breadth of experience normally found in an individual who has worked for a period of approximately two (2) years.

• Experience in the implementation of initiatives linked to the Directive on Service and Digital from the Treasury Board of Canada.
• Experience in project management related to information management.

• Willingness and ability to work overtime, as required.
• Willingness and ability to travel occasionally as required.
