HOW TO APPLY:
Applicants must clearly demonstrate in the screening questions how they meet the education and experience factors listed in the essential qualifications and asset qualifications. The applicant must provide concrete examples, which illustrate how they meet the requirement.
The screening questions will be used as the primary tool to assess the education and experience criteria listed in the statement of merit criteria.
The intent of this process is to further enhance our diversity and inclusion values at Transport Canada, and by leading this targeted recruitment process, our goal is to staff PM-02 positions within the National Aircraft Certification branch in Ottawa, Ontario with linguistic profiles of English Essential. A pool of qualified candidates may be established to staff identical or similar positions with various tenures and/or language requirements in the future at Transport Canada.

Education
ED01: A secondary school diploma or employer-approved alternatives (see Note 1).
Note 1: The employer-approved alternatives to a secondary school diploma are :
- A satisfactory score on the Public Service Commission test approved as an alternative to a secondary school diploma; or
- An acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Experience*
EX01: Experience in the administration, coordination, scheduling and priority management on complex projects or multiple tasks.
EX02: Experience in interpretation and communication of information to and dealing with multiple stakeholders.
EX03: Experience using computer software programs such as an electronic spreadsheet program to store, organize, manipulate, and analyze data.
EX04: Experience working with an information management data base system involving data entry, data manipulation and data retrieval.
*Experience is defined as having at least two (2) years’ experience within the last five (5) years.
ASSET QUALIFICATIONS
Asset qualifications are not must-haves; however, they may be applicable and invoked for volume management purposes at any time in the process.
Education
AED01: Graduation with a diploma/degree from a recognized college/university in a technical specialty relevant to the duties of the position.
Experience
AEX01: Experience in providing guidance to others on the interpretation or application of regulations, standards or guidance material.
AEX02: Experience in dealing with operational issues of a regulatory nature.
AEX03: Experience working in the Aviation industry.
AEX04: Experience in the design approval of aeronautical products.
AEX05: Experience in project management.

AA01: Ability to interpret and apply aviation regulations and standards.
OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• Must be willing and able to travel nationally and internationally as required.
• Must be willing and able to work overtime and weekends as required.
