IMPORTANT: Elections Canada offers a hybrid work model which permits telework in most situations. However, as of March 27, 2023, employees are expected to work onsite at least 2 days per week (or a minimum of 40% of their working schedule). This includes one fixed day onsite for all employees of the same team and one flexible day (i.e. not fixed) at an onsite location. Work arrangements outside of this model will be considered on an exceptional basis only.

Intent of the process

A pool of fully or partially qualified candidates may be established to fill positions at the same or equivalent group and level at Elections Canada with varying tenures (such as indeterminate, specified period, acting, casual) and various linguistic requirements and profiles.

EDUCATION
Secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCES
*Significant experience in providing **administrative support services or ***operational support services.
Experience in providing client service (internal or external).
Experience in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.

*Significant experience is defined as the depth and breadth of experience normally associated with full time performance of duties for a cumulative period of at least 1 year
**administrative support services include but are not limited to inbox management, preparing documents and files for management review, etc.
***operational support services include but are not limited to mail processing, document scanning, data processing, etc.
