Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) helps the Government of Canada serve Canadians. EDUCATION
Degree from a recognized post-secondary institution.
Notes:
Based on their education, training and/or experience, indeterminate incumbents of positions in the IS classification are deemed to meet the minimum education standard whenever a bachelor's degree without specialization is called for in a position classified as IS.
At the manager's discretion, an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience, may serve as an alternative to the minimum education standard.
EXPERIENCE
Experience in providing strategic communications services and advice to management* and clients.
* Management is defined as supervisors or above.
Experience in developing and implementing communication plans and strategies **.
**Communications plans and strategies also includes, but is not limited to: marketing plans, social media strategies, regional outreach strategies, media relations plans and engagement strategies.
Experience in writing, editing and implementing various communications products such as: news releases, speaking notes/speeches, briefing material, backgrounders.

EXPERIENCE
Experience in organizing and coordinating events such as: public events, press conferences, and internal or external outreach activities (corporate exhibits, fairs and trade shows).
