We are seeking a Research Biologist with expertise and experience in the field of pea biology and molecular biology. The successful candidate will lead independent research projects under the expert guidance and implement existing and new projects focused on the crop improvement.
We are seeking to fill ONE full-time CASUAL (90-working-day) contract with a start date as soon as possible.
This process is for casual employment only which is a temporary employment of 90 workings days or less in a calendar year.

• Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with specialization in a biological science.
• Experience providing technical support in a research laboratory environment.
• Experience planning and executing research activities related to plant molecular biology such as DNA/RNA extraction, gene expression, quantitative PCR and Western analysis.
• Experience in data analysis and statistical applications.
• Experience preparing project reports and scientific manuscripts.
• Experience in RNAseq analysis.

• A PhD degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in plant biological sciences.
Reliability Status security clearance
