The work environment for this position involves the following:
• Primarily working at a desk in an office environment serving clients in person and other sites remotely.
• This position requires a physical presence at the Edmonton Canada Place ISC IT office.

Intent of the process

The immediate need is indeterminate. A pool of qualified candidates may be established through this process to staff identical or similar positions, with various tenures depending on organizational needs (Indeterminate, Acting and Specified Period), within Indigenous Services Canada in Edmonton (Alberta).

Education:
Graduation from a two-year program of study from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in computer science, information technology, information management or another specialty relevant to the position to be staffed.

Degree equivalency

Experience:
• Experience in providing IT related client service
• Experience in providing user training
• Experience in microcomputer setup
