👨🎓 Education:
- A secondary school diploma* or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience. Acceptable combination is defined as the successful completion of three years of secondary school and two years of experience in a field relevant to the position being filled.

Asset qualifications:
01. Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in human resources management, labour or industrial relations, psychology, public or business administration, organizational development, education sciences, social sciences, sociology, or in any other field relevant to the work to be performed
02. Experience working at the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada (IRB)
03. Experience in working in a tribunal or a quasi-judicial tribunal
04. Experience interpreting and applying the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA)
05. Experience in providing administrative support services in a Human Resources environment outside of the federal public Service
06. Experience in providing administrative support services in staffing in the federal public service
07. Experience in providing administrative support services in labor relations in the federal public service
08. Experience in providing administrative support services in compensation in the federal public service
09. Experience in providing administrative support services in classification in the federal public service
10. Experience in providing administrative support services in official languages in the federal public service
11. Experience providing clients with options, recommendations, or instructions
12. Experience analysing, preparing or reviewing documents
13. Experience in the coordination and monitoring of financial activities such as (but not limited to) commitments, forecasts or budget management
14. Experience using a Customer Relationship Management Software (i.e: SAP, PeopleSoft/MyGCHR, NOVA, Cisco, Oracle etc)
15. Experience entering, retrieving, compiling, or manipulating data in an information management system or spreadsheet (Excel)
16. Experience in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel or Outlook
17. Experience in providing administrative support services*
* Administrative support services are defined as, (but not limited to): Preparing and correcting correspondence or other documents, coordinating or following up on communications, filing documents, preparing files or meetings, booking rooms, or other related duties
