Assessments may be conducted in any order and at any phase of the process:
• A variety of evaluation tools, methods and assessment timelines may be used throughout the process, including, but not limited to, standardized tests (ex: EPSI), exams, interviews, reviews of past performance and accomplishments, references, etc.:
• If you are successful in a pool, references may be contacted informally;
• Your first official language (English or French - the official language in which you are generally more proficient) will be assessed.
We may also request the following information in any order, at any phase of the process:
• Security clearance Information, if applicable;
• Proof of education, including Canadian equivalency;
• Second Language Evaluation (SLE) results, if applicable.
All of the information collected during the selection process, including behaviour and communication, from the time of application until the end of the process, may be used to evaluate candidates.

The intent of this selection process is to create a pool of qualified candidates for future appointments when vacancies arise in the Audit and Evaluation Branch and the Corporate Services Branch.
In addition, a pool of qualified candidates may be created and may be used to fill similar positions with various tenures and/or security requirements, within all federal organizations listed in Appendices I, IV and V of the Financial Administration Act.
The majority of our positions are located in Ottawa in the Audit and Evaluation and Corporate Services branches. Telework agreements may be considered, only on a case-by-case basis. In accordance with INFC’s current hybrid work model, employees hired within their position’s geographic work location are required to work in the office 40% of each month (e.g. approximately 2 days a week).

ED1: Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with an acceptable specialization in economics, sociology or statistics.
Note: Candidates must always have a university degree. The courses for the specialization must be acceptable and may have been taken at a recognized post-secondary institution, but not necessary within a degree program in the required specialization. The specialization may also be obtained through an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
EX1: Experience conducting research, analysis, performance measurement or evaluation related to policy or programs.
EX2: Experience applying quantitative or qualitative methodologies.
EX3: Experience writing reports or briefing notes to support managers .
EX4: Experience in maintaining working relationships with other teams or divisions within an organization.
