We provide you the opportunity to work under the guidance of experienced Intercept Monitor Analysts and Supervisors.
This position requires shift work, which includes working days and evenings with the possibility of working statutory holidays or overtime.
In this role you will be exposed to all levels of stakeholders including uniformed members, support staff and more.
It is important to note that the work is conducted in a confined/restricted workspace while wearing a headset and having constant exposure to multiple computer screens, noises and audio for extended periods of time. Furthermore, the work itself may include exposure to violent and/or traumatic events, abusive language and disturbing graphic material when performing job related activities.
Should a Civilian Member (CM) be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to the Public Service (PS) category for the CM. Information regarding the CM appointment will be sent to all applicable candidates who are within the area of selection and participated in the advertised process.
There are two temporary vacancies to be staffed. A pool of qualified candidates may be created and used to staff indeterminate, term, full-time and part-time positions.
Successful applicant is required to work in Regina, Saskatchewan. Telework or alternate work locations will not be an option.

A secondary School Diploma or employer-approved alternative
Experience using a computer with a software suite, i.e. MS Office, including but not limited to word processing and spreadsheet software.
Experience in analyzing information, data or reports.
Experience applying the Criminal Code, such as Part VI pertaining to the interception of telecommunications
Experience working as an Intercept Monitor Analyst using the Central Communication Intercept System (CenCIS)
Experience working on a RCMP project where the safety of a person or a matter of national security has been identified

The successful applicant will have to obtain an RCMP security clearance. The process also requires a Security/Reliability Interview, a field investigation in matters of credit/finances, education, employment, references, on-line activities, alcohol and/or drug use, etc.
Preference will be given to veterans first and then to Canadian citizens and permanent residents, with the exception of a job located in Nunavut, where Nunavut Inuit will be appointed first.
