The intent of this process is to staff positions on an indeterminate or term basis in Edmonton, AB, Winnipeg, MB and Regina, SK and create a pool of qualified candidates. A qualified pool will be created and used to staff similar positions with various tenures (i.e. indeterminate, term, acting, assignment, secondment) within the RCMP.

EDUCATION:
A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience related to the position.
EXPERIENCE:
(E1) Experience participating in budget development for operations or projects, and or monitoring of variances.
(E2) Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including for example Word and Excel.
(E3) Experience providing client-focused service in a business oriented organization.
(A1) Ability to communicate effectively in writing.

KNOWLEDGE:
(K1) Knowledge of contract administration and financial management within the Government of Canada.
(K2) Knowledge of theories and principles of real property life cycle asset management.
(K3) Knowledge of various building systems and procedures to ensure the life safety of the occupants.

EDUCATION:
Successful completion of a degree, diploma, or certificate, or a combination of experience and education in facilities or real property management, project management or building design and construction such as:
- Certified Property Manager (CPM)
- Certified Administrator
- BOMI Real Property Administrator (RPA)
- BOMI Facilities Management Administrator (FMA)
- IFMA Certified Facilities Manager (CFM)
- Certified Engineering Technician
-Applied Science Technologist
EXPERIENCE:
Experience using SAP integrated system for real property, finance, procurement, and or materiel management.
Experience reviewing and/or developing contractual documents and in monitoring contractor performance.
Operational Requirements:
-Willing and able to work in and around construction sites, including wearing protective clothing and footwear
-Willing and able to travel and work overtime, as required.
Conditions of Employment:
-Willing and able to obtain and maintain an RCMP Enhanced Reliability Status Clearance.
-Possession of a valid driver’s license
-Willing and able travel by various modes of transportation (including commercial and light aircraft) up to and including remote locations.
