Education:
Graduation from a two-year program of study from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in computer science, information technology, information management or another specialty relevant to the position to be staffed.
Experience:
Experience developing software using at least two of the following programming languages: C, C++, Python, JavaScript, R, Bash.
Experience using version control systems such as git for software development.
Experience maintaining servers, databases and computing infrastructure.
Experience in planning, testing and implementing improvements to existing applications.
Asset Experience:
Experience working with external clients to develop computer applications.
Experience planning and implementing changes to cloud infrastructure.
Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) applications.
Experience implementing devops concepts such as CI/CD, infrastructure as code, configuration management, etc.

Knowledge of relational databases, defining, analyzing and integrating datasets, and verifying data integrity.
Knowledge of web services and application programming interfaces (APIs).
