Please note: FedNor has offices across Ontario in Sudbury, Sault Ste Marie, North Bay, Thunder Bay, Timmins and Kenora. The successful candidates would work out of one of these offices. The Applicants are responsible to ensure they have a reliable internet connection and access.
Our organization currently has a variety of needs for administrative positions and the pools of fully or partially qualified candidates that will be created can be used to staff future temporary and indeterminate vacancies and staff positions that are identical or similar at the AS-01, AS-02 and AS-03 group and level within Federal Economic Development Agency for Northern Ontario. The duration and linguistic profiles could vary depending on the positions to be filled.

EDUCATION
ALL LEVELS
Secondary school diploma or acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience. Diplôme d'études secondaires (DES) ou un agencement acceptable d'études, de formation ou d'expérience.
EXPERIENCE
ALL LEVELS:
- Experience in providing general administrative support.
- Experience and fluency in the use of computer software / technology such as Excel, Word, etc.
- Experience providing client service to clients (internal or external), or the public, via telephone, in writing or in person.
ONLY AS-02 AND AS-03
Experience in the coordination and logistic for projects and/or administrative activities.
AS-03 ONLY
Experience in preparing agendas and writing materials (such as ministerial correspondence, briefing materials, meeting records, summaries, agendas, newsletters or inquiries).
ASSET QUALIFICATION
EDUCATION
- Postsecondary diploma relevant to the position to be filled (graduation by June 30, 2023)
EXPERIENCE
- Experience using correspondence tracking systems.
- Experience in receiving, tracking and coordinating various documents.
- Experience providing administrative services in an executive office.
- Experience providing administrative support services in areas such as finance, human resources, material management, procurement and contracting, and/or general administration
- Experience coordinating meetings or teleconferences.
- Experience in performing data entry.
- Experience in organizing travel schedules and make reservations
