Duties

The candidate will be part of the Services to Individual team and will assist in the delivery of programs such as estates, Registration and Curatorship. He will be in charge of the analysis of files and the delivery of service to clients in accordance with established program guidelines. This includes providing service to clients, analyzing and making recommendations to management on a program implementation, analyzing files and participating in the development and implementation of standard procedures.

📌 Workplace:
The workplaces for the positions to be filled are located in Quebec City (320 St-Joseph Street East) and in Kahnawake, QC (Lot S.1 S.6-1). Successful candidates will be required to work at the work site in a hybrid work mode. A part-time telework agreement may be discussed and implemented at the time of hiring in accordance with the operational needs of the position to be filled.

Intent of the process

The immediate intent of this selection process is to staff two indeterminates positions as a Regional program officer.

A pool of candidates will be established to staff similar or identical positions at Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) with various locations, tenure, linguistic profiles or security requirements.

EDUCATION
Secondary school diploma.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE
Experience in dealing, collaborating or maintaining relationships with various internal or external stakeholders .
Experience in researching and analysing information, in order to make recommendations.
Experience in the application of guidelines, laws or regulations.

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)

ASSET EXPERIENCE
Experience in handling registration, estate or curatorship files.
Experience working with communities, organizations or members of First Nations.
