Duties

Canadian Hydrographic Service (CHS) Directors will deliver hydrographic operations, including critical services, to support safe navigation, the blue economy and Canadian sovereignty. They are also expected to manage significant change as CHS undergoing a digital transformation to implement new international hydrographic standards and to prepare for e-navigation.

Intent of the process

A list of partially qualified candidates may be established to staff EX-01 positions within Fisheries and Oceans Canada across Canada.

All federal organizations listed in Schedule I, IV and V of the Financial Administration Act (FAA) may use this staffing process to appoint a candidate to a position having a similar merit criteria.
