Shared Services Canada is modernizing how the Government of Canada manages its information technology (IT) infrastructure. The Department is mandated to deliver email, data centre and telecommunication services, including videoconferencing and Wi-Fi, to partner organizations.

The Enterprise Architecture branch at SSC is committed to improve project outcomes align with the Government of Canada digital vision, to safeguard a sustainable IT infrastructure but also maximize the return on its investment.
Therefore we are seeking IT specialists who are experienced in a variety of IT domains, client focus and skilled in effective communications. Our dream candidate would be able to think analytically, prioritize, plan and to support multiple initiatives or projects; but also be passionate by being part of those who can make a difference.
A pool of qualified or partially qualified candidates may be established and may be used to staff positions with similar qualifications, with various language requirements, various conditions of employment or various tenures within Shared Services Canada. In the interest of the greater public service, pools created at SSC may be shared with other government departments.

EDUCATION:
EDU1: Graduation from a two-year program of study from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in computer science, information technology, information management or another specialty relevant to the position to be staffed.
EXPERIENCE:
EX1: Significant* experience in developing OR CONDUCTING, REVIEWING OR PARTICIPATING architecture artifacts which may includes but is not limited to visions, strategies, roadmaps, standards, solution architectures, service architectures, or reference architectures.
EX2: Significant* experience in providing architecture guidance to support programs, or portfolios or projects.
EX3: Experience in leading, negotiating and building working relationships with various partners or stakeholders/clients.
EX4: Experience working on organization wide external and internal working groups.
*Significant is defined as the breadth and depth of experience normally associated with having performed a broad range of specific and related work over a period of at least three (3) years.
ASSET EDUCATION:
AEDU1: Security Certifications: CISSP, SCF, CISA.
AEDU2: Architecture Certifications: TOGAF or other related training within Solution or Enterprise Architecture methodology or framework.
AEDU3: Business Analysis Certifications.
