Duties

Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC)’s Science and Technology Strategies Directorate is currently recruiting for a number of policy advisory positions in order to fulfil its broad mandate. This represents an excellent opportunity to develop and expand your skills and knowledge at the interface of federal science and policy-making. The Science and Technology Strategies Directorate leads on a wide range of key files for ECCC, including:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop policy and position papers, as well as briefing and presentation materials. You will also contribute to formulating and providing strategic advice to senior management on complex science-policy issues, by conducting analysis to advance the strategic objectives of the Science and Technology Strategies Directorate and Environment and Climate Change Canada.

ED1. Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with an acceptable specialization in economics, sociology or statistics.
