However, if you meet one or more, you are strongly encouraged to answer asset Qualifications
questions in your online application as they may be used at any stage in the process or be a deciding
factor in choosing the person to be considered for an appointment.
1. Participates in the development and implementation of the integrated management system (IMS) components in the areas of information management, documentation frameworks, and workflow management, and in the design and development of associated policies, procedures, processes and tools.
2. As a Subject Matter Expert, develops taxonomies, file classification plans, and documentation numbering procedures for effective and efficient management of information in Civil Aviation nationally.
3. Interface with HQ and regional staff to guide document consultation processes, and enable the establishment and consistent application of the IMS.
4. Develops briefing documentation and recommendations linked to short and long-term strategies, directives, guidelines and standards, and writes briefing material to advise, inform, or request approval from management.
5. Contributes as a member of the Management Systems team by providing input into divisional planning and reporting; and collaborates with colleagues to continuously improve the effectiveness of the IMS.
The results of this process will initially be used to staff one (1) position with a BBB/BBB linguistic profile on an indeterminate basis.
A pool of qualified candidates may be established to staff identical or similar positions with various tenures and various linguistic profiles with Transport Canada.

Education:
E1: A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Experience:
EX1: Recent* experience in the development, implementation and/or monitoring of various management systems.
EX2: Experience in the development and/or monitoring of information management policies, procedures and tools.
EX3: Experience working within a records or document management system.
*Recent means experience acquired within the last five (5) years.
