The positions are located in Gatineau. Telework agreements may be possible based on operational realities and at management's discretion.

A degree in a related discipline from a recognized post-secondary institution, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.

EXPERIENCE:
Experience in researching and writing at least two types of communications products (such as: news releases, media lines, backgrounders, feature articles, speeches, video scripts, media analysis, public opinion research and consultations reports or material for the Web and/or social media) in a deadline driven environment.
Experience in providing communication advice to colleagues or clients.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in media relations, and liaising with media representatives, senior management and officials from the Minister’s office.
Experience in searching and monitoring media and social media monitoring software, as well as news sites to identify content for media clippings.
Experience producing media clippings and/or analyses for senior management and officials from the ministers’ offices.
