Recognized as a leader in career management in the federal public service, Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) has been providing internal career management support services since 1993. Within Human Resources Branch, the Career Management Services team is composed of career, leadership and coaching experts who provide individual services and workshops to departmental employees, managers and executives.

The Career Management Services team has taken inspiration from this experience by adopting a hybrid and flexible work mode as part of its work environment.

Depending on the nature of the work required by the position and operational needs, hybrid forms of work, such as telework, a combination of on-site work and telework, and compressed work schedules will be possibilities. Intent of the process

The intent of this process is to immediately fill one (1) position of Senior Human Resources Advisor, Career management (PE-04) on an indeterminate basis.

STREAM 1: Human Resources (HR) Advisor, Career management (PE-03)

A pool of partially or fully qualified candidates at the group and level PE-03 and PE-04 will be established and may be also used for appointments for similar positions within Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) with varying employment tenures, language requirements, position locations, security requirements depending on the needs of the positions being staffed.

A variety of assessment tools may be used in the assessment of candidates. Also note that certain competencies may be assessed globally.
