The Department of Justice is transitioning to a Hybrid Model. This means that our team members will be working on site (in the office) at least some of the time and teleworking from home, as operational requirements permit.
The immediate need is to staff one english essential position on an indeterminate basis, in Edmonton.
A partially or fully qualified pool may be established to staff similar positions within the Department of Justice with various tenures, various linguistic requirements, various operational requirements and/or various conditions of employment.

EDUCATION
ED1 : Successful completion of two years of a post-secondary program with specialization in accounting, finance, business administration, commerce or economics; OR
Possession of the Government of Canada Financial Management Certificate.
EXPERIENCE
EX1: Experience in applying financial laws, policies, directives, guidelines OR procedures
EX2: Experience in extracting and analyzing financial information
EX3: Experience in providing financial advice to clients or managers
ASSET QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE
AEX1: Experience using a financial management software and reporting tools.
AEX2: Experience related to accounting or financial management functions, such as (but not limited to):
• Accounting operations
• Financial planning and resource management
• Financial policy
• Financial systems
AEX3: Experience in using MS Excel advanced features (graphics, pivot tables, V look up).
AEX4: Experience in the development or use of data analytics tools
AEX5: Experience working with the SAP system.
