If you need to be accommodated during any phase of the evaluation process, please use the Contact information below to request specialized accommodation. All information received in relation to accommodation will be kept confidential.
When you apply to this selection process, you are not applying for a specific job, but to an inventory for future vacancies. As positions become available, applicants who meet the qualifications may be contacted for further assessment.
We are looking for casual staff to fill immediate gaps in our workforce. Casual positions are for 90 working days, with the potential of longer-term or permanent employment.
Please provide your resume and a cover letter (maximum 1 page) that describes your qualifications, along with a brief explanation of how you would be a good fit with the Non-Insured Health Benefits Program Saskatchewan team.
Do you like a challenge when you come to work? If so, the position of a Benefits Analyst in the Non-Insured Health Benefits Call Centre could be the perfect opportunity for you. You will work in a fast-paced call centre environment, responding to inquiries over the phone and processing fax requests. This could be an opportunity for you to develop new skills and start a career with the federal public service. Successful candidates will be customer-service oriented, and have good attention to detail, communication skills, and computer skills.
Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) is a program of Indigenous Services Canada, the federal department responsible for helping First Nations and Inuit people of Canada to maintain and improve their health, while respecting individual choices and circumstances. The program provides coverage for the following medically necessary goods and services:
• vision care (https://www.sac-isc.gc.ca/eng/1574179499096/1574179544527)
• dental care (https://www.sac-isc.gc.ca/eng/1574192221735/1574192306943)
• mental health counselling (https://www.sac-isc.gc.ca/eng/1576441552462/1576441618847)
• medical supplies and equipment (https://www.sac-isc.gc.ca/eng/1579620079031/1579620259238)
• prescription and over-the-counter medications (https://www.sac-isc.gc.ca/eng/1574784515492/1574784549876)
• medical transportation (https://www.sac-isc.gc.ca/eng/1574177172364/1574177196509) to access medically required health services not available on reserve or the individual’s community of residence
This is a continuous intake to create and maintain an inventory, as well as, to establish partially assessed pools for current and future opportunities with Non-Insured Health Benefits at Indigenous Services Canada (ISC)
