The Warehouse Stores-person position is a great opportunity within the RCMP's IT Assets unit, providing support to the Informatics Program and Divisional clients. You will prepare and complete orders for delivery to internal clients, receive and process warehouse stock products, perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits. You will also process intake of Informatics equipment returned from various locations, and manage disposal and life-cycle management of assets. You will keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation in a team environment.
The intent of this process is to staff one (1) permanent position in Edmonton, AB.
A qualified pool of candidates may be established and may be used to staff similar positions on an indeterminate, term or acting basis.

Experience in materiel control duties in a warehouse facility in a minimum of two (2) of the following: shipping, receiving, packaging, stocktaking, picking.
Experience operating a computerized material inventory system database such as SAP, SOE, Support Magic, MS Access.
Experience in operating a computer using the Microsoft Office Suite including MS Word, MS Excel.
Ability to communicate effectively in writing.
ASSET QUALIFICATIONS:
Possession of a Provincial, Territorial, or other Federal Departmental fork lift certification.
Experience with PWGSC National Master Standing Offers regarding courier and/or Freight Services.
OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Willingness and ability to use material handling equipment to move heavy items on a daily basis.
Willingness and ability to lift and carry boxes or equipment weighing up to 30 lbs on a daily basis.
Willingness and ability to stand for extended periods of time on a daily basis.

RCMP Enhanced Reliability Status security clearance.
