This is an anticipatory process. The intent of this selection process is to create a pool of fully or partially qualified candidates to be used to staff these or similar or lower level positions within Fisheries and Oceans Canada in Newfoundland and Labrador. This process may be used to staff various tenures, including indeterminate, specified period, deployments, assignment, secondments and actings.

Education:
- Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in economics or statistics*.
*Please note that you will be asked to define your specialization by listing your completed courses in economics, statistics, computer science and/or mathematics in the screening question for this essential education requirement.
Experience:
- Experience in collecting and analyzing data, using formulas and pivot tables
Experience:
- Experience using NLCE (NL Catch and Effort) Data Entry
- Experience using the Catch and Effort Home Page , NL Region
- Experience* analyzing fisheries data, using formulas and pivot tables.
*At least 1 year where this was a major function of a full time position or part of a fisheries related degree program
