Intent of the process

The immediate intent of this poster is to fill one (1) indeterminate position, bilingual imperative BBB/BBB.

A pool of qualified candidates may be established and used to fill similar positions at this group and level with various language requirements, security requirements, various conditions of employment, various locations and durations (acting, assignment/secondment, deployment, term and/or indeterminate) within Crown Relations and Northern Affairs Canada and Indigenous Services Canada.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

EDUCATION:

ED1. A secondary school diploma or employer-approved alternatives*

*The employer-approved alternatives to a secondary school diploma are:

• A satisfactory score on the Public Service Commission test approved as an alternative to a secondary school diploma; or

• An acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Candidates who already meet both of the following criteria must be accepted as meeting the secondary school diploma requirement:

a. Candidates who have achieved a satisfactory score on the Public Service Commission test approved as an alternative to a secondary school diploma; and

b. Candidates who have been appointed or deployed for an indeterminate period to a position in the PG classification.

The opportunity to be assessed by at least one of the two employer-approved alternatives must be offered to candidates who have not previously met the secondary school diploma requirement.

Candidates who were appointed or deployed on an indeterminate basis using an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience meet the secondary school requirement for the PG classification only and must be reassessed for entry to other classifications on the basis of this alternative.

Acceptable experience and/or training in a field relevant to positions in the PG classification is required when the education qualification specified for the position being staffed is a secondary school diploma or employer-approved alternatives.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE:

EXP1. Experience in administering, controlling or monitoring one of the following payment card programs (Credit Card, Debit Card, Charge Card, ATM Card, Fleet Card, Store Card, Prepaid Card, Gift Card) during twelve (12) cumulative months.

EXP2. Experience in reviewing reimbursement claims against rules and directives during twelve (12) cumulative months.

EXP3. Experience in allocating and monitoring files or cases to subordinates during twelve (12) cumulative months.

EXP4. Experience in supervising subordinates and assessing their performance during twelve (12) consecutive months.

ASSET EDUCATION:

ED2. Post-secondary diploma from a recognized institution in a field related to the position.

Degree equivalency

ASSET EXPERIENCE:

EXP5. Experience in issuing and cancelling acquisition cards.

EXP6. Experience in interpreting National Joint Council (NJC) Directives and all the annexed Programs.
