EDUCATION:
A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution.

1. Based on their education, training and/or experience, indeterminate incumbents of positions in the IS classification are deemed to meet the minimum education standard whenever a bachelor's degree without specialization is called for in a position classified as IS.
2. At the manager's discretion, an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience, may serve as an alternative to the minimum education standard
IS-03/IS-04 EXPERIENCE:
Experience writing and editing social media content.
Experience collecting social media metrics using a social media tool (e.g., Hootsuite).
Experience collecting social media metrics on various social media platforms (e.g., through Twitter, Facebook, Instagram).
Experience analyzing social media metrics.
IS-04 ONLY EXPERIENCE:
Experience providing social media advice to colleagues or managers.
Experience developing social media analytics reports to justify changes to social media content strategy.
