Important messages

We are committed to providing an inclusive and barrier-free work environment, starting with the hiring process. If you need to be accommodated during any phase of the evaluation process, please use the Contact information below to request specialized accommodation. All information received in relation to accommodation will be kept confidential.

Assessment accommodation

At this time, we are working in a hybrid model, therefore it is essential that our employees are within commuting distance of one of our 4 locations – Waterloo, Toronto, Peterborough, and Ottawa.

Are you a member of one or more of the following groups: Indigenous Peoples, Black and other Racialized People (also referred to Visible Minority in the Employment Equity Act which is under review), Persons with a disability or Women.

Do you have project management and analytical skills that would benefit the Public Service? Are you looking for increasing opportunities for advancement and to lead? If you answered “yes” to these questions, working at Fed Dev could be a great fit for you.

We also recognize our responsibility and are fully committed to reconciliation with Indigenous Peoples, and finding and eliminating racism as well as systemic and structural barriers in our people management, policy and programs. In order to achieve this goal, we strongly encourage you to identify if you belong to one or more of the following groups: (Indigenous, Black and other racialized minorities, Persons with a Disability, Women).

NOTE: We understand that the phrasing, Black, Indigenous and/or Racialized People, is not a perfect definition, just as the terminology of "Black, Indigenous and People of Colour (BIPOC)" doesn't show the individual attention that each group deserves. As we focus on the big picture of addressing racism, we are currently following the language used by the Federal Anti-Racism Secretariat.
