COMPETITIVE SALARY AND BENEFITS:
- Various allowances as per the Isolated Posts and Government Housing Directive such as Environmental allowance and Living Cost Differential
- New employees are entitled to 3 weeks’ vacation leave with pay after 6 months of continuous employment

In addition to the yearly rate of pay, positions located in Wabush NL are eligible to an Environmental Allowance and a Living Cost Differential as per the as per the Isolated Posts and Government Housing Directive (effective date 01.08.22):
ENVIRONMENTAL ALLOWANCE:
- Employee with dependants: $3.07 hourly ($6,403 per year)
- Employee without dependants: $1.84 hourly ($3,842 per year)
LIVING COST DIFFERENTIAL:
- Employee with dependants: $3.88 hourly ($8,100 per year)
- Employee without dependants: $2.33 hourly ($4,860 per year)

OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATION:
- Possess a valid Inter Provincial Journeyman Industrial Electrician Certificate.
EXPERIENCE:
EX01: Experience in industrial and/or institutional electrical distribution networks
EX02: Experience as an electrician, in preventive maintenance, reparation and modification of electric components of installations and equipment in industrial and institutional environments
EX03: Experience in preventive maintenance, reparation and modification of instrumentation, control and automation systems
ASSET CERTIFICATIONS:
AXC01: Hold a restricted radiotelephone operator certificate
AXC02: Hold an Airport Airside Vehicle Operator’s Permit (AVOP)
ASSET EXPERIENCE:
AEX01: Experience in industrial and/or institutional electrical distribution networks, from high voltage (4.16Kv) to low voltage
AEX02: Experience working in an airport environment
AEX03: Experience with high-voltage series lighting circuits
AEX04: Experience in overseeing subcontractors during the performance of minor work.
ASSET KNOWLEDGE:
