Support the organization's strategic decision-making by:
• Conducting socio-economic analyses related to the labour market and on target audiences to contribute to the ministry's programs;
• Guiding the development of different methods of analysis and evaluation;
• Evaluating programs or projects, as well as reviewing and monitoring activities conducted by the Quebec region;
• Contributing to the annual strategic planning cycle;
• Developing relationships with partners and stakeholders to support collaborative external relationships.

🎓 EDUCATION
ED1: Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution* with an acceptable specialization in economics, sociology or statistics.
*A recognized post-secondary institution is defined as a public or private institution that has been given authority to grant degrees, diplomas, and other credentials by a public or private act of a provincial/territorial legislature or through a government-mandated quality assurance mechanism. For greater certainty, also included are institutions authorized to grant specific academic credentials for specific academic programs.
📌 EXPERIENCE
EX1: Significant experience* in developing and writing analytical reports, evaluation reports, presentations, briefing papers, advisory papers, or dashboards to present findings, conclusions, or recommendations from research, analysis, or consultations.
EX2: Significant experience* in presenting or providing strategic advice, briefings or recommendations to management (i.e., Director or above**) on a range of policy or program issues.
* Significant experience is define as experience normally acquired (through work or postdoctoral studies) over a period of 24 months.
** Senior level means Director General, Assistant Deputy Minister, Deputy Minister.

EDUCATION

EXPERIENCE
AE1: Experience* in producing economic analyses, including outlooks, as well as providing advice on the implications of economic, social, and labor market trends for program or service planning or delivery.
AE2: Experience* in program evaluation.
AE3: Experience* in project or initiative management (plan development, project leadership, report writing) including transformation management or change management.
AE4: Experience* in business intelligence or data science.
AE5: Experience* using programming language or data manipulation/analysis software (EX. SQL, Python, R, SAS, SPSS, Stata MAXQDA, Excel, PowerBI, Tableau, E-Views, NVivo, Atlas.ti.
