A pool of qualified candidates will be established and may be used to staff identical or similar positions within Library and Archives Canada using various languages requirements and/or various tenures (Assignment, Secondment, Acting, Specific period, Deployment, Indeterminate) according to the positions being staffed.

EDUCATION :
A secondary school diploma or employer-approved alternatives (see Note 1)
Note 1 : The employer-approved alternatives to a secondary school diploma are: A satisfactory score on the Public Service Commission test approved as an alternative to a secondary school diploma; or An acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
EXPERIENCE :
Significant* experience in providing executive** or administrative*** support services
Experience in liaising and coordinating information with internal and external stakeholders
Experience in researching and analysing information from various sources
Experience in managing the flow of correspondence and handling various requests
*Significant experience is defined by the depth, breadth and diversity of experience normally gained through a wide range of diverse and complex activities.
**Executive services may include performing tasks such as managing a calendar, managing a senior manager's daily schedule, planning or coordinating meetings, preparing or reviewing documents, coordinating incoming and outgoing correspondence, filing, taking minutes, collecting data and preparing tables, etc.
***Administrative services may include performing tasks such as preparing forms, entering data, preparing or revising reports or other documents, filing, drafting correspondence in operational settings such as a registrar's office, finance, administration, security, human resources, case management or other settings.

Experience in managing financial resources*
*“Financial resource management” includes auditing and reconciling expenses against a budget, processing invoices and collections, reconciling data from various systems, producing reports, credit card and travel statements and related invoices.
