๐ข The Receiver General is a common government services provider supporting both the treasury and accounting functions of the federal government. Its clients are all federal government departments, agencies, crown corporations and Canadians.
The Banking Arrangements Directorate negotiates, manages, and implements financial services with financial institutions for both standard and specialized banking services, which are used for domestic and foreign disbursements and for the collection of revenues.
The primary responsibilities of the position include both Treasury Management and Financial Management functions, including:
โข Administering contracts with Financial Institutions through amendments, invoice verification and data entry in the departmental financial system.
โข Researching, developing, negotiating, and implementing banking services solutions on behalf of client departments.
โข Developing Statements of Work, Requests for Information, and Requests for Proposal documents, and subsequently evaluating proposals received from industry.
โข Liaising with senior-level officials from the Financial Services industry and regulatory bodies.
โข Preparing and delivering presentations.
โข Providing expert advice and guidance to PSPC executives and client departments.
โข Participating in or leading research, analysis, and planning.
โข Performing data analytics and creating reports for senior management.
โข Executing other ad hoc tasks.

โ Graduation with a degree from a recognized university with specialization in accounting, finance, business administration, commerce or economics AND experience related to positions in the Financial Management Group.
