Human Resources Management Systems (HRMS) Coordinator:
The primary role of the Human Resources Management Systems (HRMS) Coordinator is to provide first level support to over 7,000 ECCC employees. You will be part of the HRMS Help Desk team that provides first line support. You will work closely with the client to help them access, navigate and resolve various issues related to our HR and Pay systems.
Pay Liaison Coordinator:
The primary role of the Pay Liaison Coordinator is to provide quality and timely delivery and coordination of first level support services for all ECCC employees with pay and leave requests, questions or issues.
Other duties include but are not limited to:
• Contribute to the development of strategies and business processes to address various issues and improve service delivery efficiency
• Develop various tools, processes and procedures to address recurring compensation questions or issues
The intent of this selection process is to staff Human Resources Management Systems (HRMS) Coordinator positions but it will also be used to staff Pay Liaison Coordinator positions. A pool of qualified candidates will be established from this process which may be used to staff similar positions within Environment Canada across Canada, with various language requirements, security levels and employment tenures which may vary according to the position being staffed.

Education
A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience
Experience
Experience working in a client service environment.
Experience in using a Human Resources Management System (e.g. MyGCHR, PeopleSoft, HRIS) beyond the self-service function, to help address various information request from clients or solve problems.
Assets
Recent experience* in using the MyGCHR or PeopleSoft Human Resources Management Systems (version 8.9, 9.1 or 9.2) beyond the self – service function to help address various information requests from clients or issues.
* Recent experience is defined as experience obtained within the last 2 years.
Experience in using the Phoenix Pay System beyond the self – service function to help address various information requests from clients or resolve various issues.
Experience in providing advice and guidance to employees and managers on questions related to human resources management systems or compensation matters.
Experience in the interpretation and the application of acts, legislation, regulations, rules and procedures related to compensation and benefits in the Federal Public Service
Various language requirements
