Working for our Labour Relations team at Transport Canada, Quebec region you will be exposed to many different cases, not one like the other! You will be in an environment where complicity and collaboration are at the center of our work. The HR team of TC, Quebec region will accompany you every step of the way towards becoming a skilled advisor.
The intent of this process is to staff one Labour Relations Advisor (developmental program) position for an indeterminate period. A pool of qualified candidates will be established and used to staff positions of various tenures (indeterminate, determinate, acting, assignment, secondment) for the same group and level within Transport Canada, Quebec region.

EDUCATION
Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in human resources management, labour or industrial relations, psychology, public or business administration, organizational development, education sciences, social sciences, sociology, or in any other field relevant to the work to be performed.
Notes: Indeterminate incumbents of PE positions and of positions in the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions and in Indian Oil and Gas Canada that are equivalent to PE positions on October 1, 1999, who do not possess the education level prescribed above, are deemed to meet the minimum education standard based on their education, training and/or experience.
EXPERIENCE
Experience in providing information or advice on HR related questions or procedures.
A Certified Human Resources Professional designation.
Bilingual - Imperative (BBB/BBB)
Note that this selection process will use the Public Service Commission's (PSC) Second language evaluation - Unsupervised Internet Tests (SLE UIT). Once the advertisement has closed, you will be invited to complete the Unsupervised tests of written expression and of reading comprehension for the level B IF you do not already have valid Second Language Evaluation (SLE) results. You are responsible for checking your email and PSRS account for the invitation to complete the applicable test (s) within the established timeframe.
