If you need to be accommodated during any phase of the evaluation process, please use the Contact information below to request specialized accommodation. All information received in relation to accommodation will be kept confidential.

Assessment accommodation

Although flexible work arrangements (variable work week, flexible start and end times) may be considered, full time virtual work is not being supported by management at this time.

All communication relating to this process, including email correspondence and telephone conversations, may be used in the assessment of qualifications.

In many selection processes the first step is screening. It's during the screening phase that the assessment board will decide whether your application will be considered further or will be rejected. Use the Screening Questionnaire wisely. By demonstrating how you meet the qualifications, you may better your odds at being considered further.

Duties

Provision of procurement and contracting services for a diverse range of low to medium dollar value and medium complexity (risk) goods and services and minor construction required by the RCMP.

Work environment

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) is more than just Canada's national police service. We have been part of the fabric of Canada since 1873 – almost 150 years. We are one of only a few police services recognized around the world for both our policing excellence and our image – the "Mountie".

Over the last century-and-a-half, we have grown and evolved with and for Canadians. The result is a more modern, diverse and inclusive RCMP that serves with honour and pride to keep Canadians safe. Vision150: https://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/vision150/index-eng.htm

Intent of the process

The intent of this process is to fill indeterminate vacancies at the PG-01 and PG-02 levels in London, Ontario. A pool of candidates may be established and used for future staffing.

Should a Civilian Member (CM) be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to the Public Service (PS) category for the CM.
