At the Public Service Commission of Canada (PSC), we foster a healthy, modern, diverse and inclusive workplace. We collaborate in a hybrid work environment. Apply to join our talented team!
Our IT Services are creating opportunities for dynamic people ready to positively impact and contribute to our mission: Build Tomorrow’s Public Service.
Like most IT organizations, we are at a turning point: Our legacy systems continue to support our business to provide services and value to our partners, departments, and Canadians. At the same time, we need to transform to better face future challenges in this digital age.
To name a few, we look towards continuing to upgrade our environments and systems such as using a new development stack, establishing our pipelines, and transitioning to the cloud, all this in a highly collaborative work environment.
We are looking for experienced, skilled, and inspiring Team Leaders to support our priorities. Your role will be at the center of our environment changes. You will be required to hire, mentor, and help your team members flourish while helping the PSC deliver service line support on business, IT-led projects, and products while balancing the day-to-day operational needs of the department.
Also, the PSC will begin its Transition Plan to Hybrid Work this fall. Employees will be required to report to a PSC office at least once a week, with the opportunity to telework the rest of the week, subject to operational requirements. This model offers interesting opportunities to combine the best of our traditions with new approaches to foster a diverse and healthy public service.
The intent of this process is to staff two (2) Team Leader positions indeterminately.
A pool of qualified candidates may be established and may be used to staff similar positions on an indeterminate or term basis with various linguistic profiles and/or security requirements within the public service.
By applying to this process, you consent to your personal application-related information being shared with other government departments interested in staffing similar positions.
