The position is located at 73 Leikin Drive, Ottawa, Ontario.
The immediate need is to staff one position on an indeterminate basis, with a linguistic profile of English Essential and a Reliability security clearance.
A pool of candidates may be established and may be used to staff similar positions within the RCMP in the National Capital Region on an indeterminate or specified period (including term, acting, or assignment) basis, with various linguistic profiles and various RCMP security clearances.
Should a Civilian Member (CM) be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to the Public Service (PS) category for the CM

EDU1. Successful completion of two years of secondary school or employer-approved alternatives.
E1- Experience in using standard computer software such as email and Microsoft Office Suite.
AEDU1. A secondary school diploma or employer-approved alternatives.
AEDU2. Post-Secondary training, certificate or diploma in Logistics, Warehouse Management or a field relevant to the position.
A valid Ontario DZ license, or equivalent.
AE1. Experience working in a warehouse, shipping environment or distribution centre.
AE2. Experience providing continuous life cycle management of equipment and/or supplies on a large scale.
Ability and willingness to work overtime when required and on short notice.

Reliability Status security clearance - All applicants for positions within the Royal Canadian Mounted Police will be subject to a thorough security clearance process which includes an interview wherein questions may include (but not limited to), reference checks, previous employment, on-line activities, credit checks, alcohol and/or drug use.
Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
Must be willing and able to lift, carry and shelve goods weighing up to 30 kg repeatedly throughout the day.
Must be willing and able to perform physical tasks such as, but not limited to, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, stooping, crouching, etc.
Valid driver’s license G Class, or equivalent to drive a panel van or cube van style vehicle.
