The immediate need is to fill one indeterminate position in Gagetown, NB.
This process may be used to staff the same or similar positions with various tenures, language or security requirements within DND.

OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATION:
• Journeyman Certification in one of the following trades: Machinist, Millwright, Industrial Mechanic or Plumber/Pipefitter.
OR
• Military Occupation Code 647 Water Fuel Environment Technician QL6A
EXPERIENCE:
• Experience in trouble shooting, maintenance and operations of industrial plant equipment, such as pumps and mechanical components.
• Experience in completing first line maintenance and repairs to equipment in an Industrial Plant.
• Experience in working with Petroleum storage tanks and dispensing systems.
• Experience with computer control systems such as SCADA.
• Experience in supervising employees.
• Experience in scheduling a preventive maintenance program.
• Experience in time management as it relates to acquisition of materials and equipment.

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Willingness and ability to travel and work at various sites and under various conditions for training and work purposes
• Willingness and ability to attend employer directed training
Reliability Status security clearance
• Possess and maintain a valid provincial or territorial driver's license
• Must be able to obtain and retain a DND 404 driver’s license
• Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in compliance with safety regulations.
• Must be able and willing to work in extreme weather conditions; work in confined spaces; work at heights and from ladders and scaffolding; and perform heavy lifting tasks (up to 60 lbs).
• Must be able to work shift work and/or overtime.
• Must be able to attend employer directed training.
