Intent of the process

This process is intended to staff one (1) full-time indeterminate position.
A pool of candidates may be created to staff similar positions with various linguistic profiles and tenures (indeterminate, specified term, acting, assignment, deployment, secondment).

EDUCATION
• Successful completion of secondary school education or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCES
• EX1 – Experience managing the agenda of a senior manager (executive);
• EX2 - Experience managing, prioritizing and tracking communication and various action requests, for a senior manager (executive) and ensuring completion within established timeframes;
• EX3 - Experience drafting written communication and preparing, correcting and reviewing documents for the office of a senior manager (executive); (e.g., correspondence, documents, taking meeting minutes, spreadsheets, presentation decks)
• EX4 - Experience administering, monitoring and reporting on the assigned division‘s budget.
• EX5 - Experience coordinating and preparing logistics and supporting documents for meetings or training sessions.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
• A college or vocational diploma obtained from a recognized institution in one of the following specializations: office administration, business administration, finance/accounting or other field related to the position.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE
• Experience liaising with management and senior executives and/or members of their offices within Federal, Provincial or Municipal government departments;
• Experience using a financial management system such as SAP;
• Experience using an electronic records and information management system and providing record management services such as classifying, coding, filing, retrieving, retaining and disposing of documentation;
• Experience managing the office of a senior manager (executive) virtually;
• Experience coordinating and booking domestic and international travel; and
• Experience using various systems/applications such as: PowerPoint, PDF Application, Outlook, Web-Ex, Microsoft Teams, Slido, etc.
